There
are many things that people wish to get from being a part of a
club.
For some, it's the financial savings they can make for minimal
outlay;
- Some Audi main dealers- parts & servicing
- Some independent specialists- parts & servicing
- Discount insurance- including "Agreed Value", modified vehicles,
future classics and multi car policies
- Obtaining an "Agreed Value" certificate for the above- the
club is recognised to do this anddoes NOT charge extra to members
- Discounts on books, manuals, Video's, DVD's and other Audi
related merchandise
- Trying to source obsolete stock for members benefit
For others, it's going to events, seeing something new; broadening their experiences and meeting new- and familiar- faces;
Others take advantage of the technical information and wealth that can be gleaned from other members;
Some just like to admire the cars and the interpetation and evolution at the hands of their owners;
Some are after advice on help on maintaining their "future classic"- as well as their every day car;
The club, and it's members have been described as a "friendly bunch"-
there is no elitism among the members; all share a passion for all
things "Audi".
Run by enthusiasts' for enthusiasts', the club is run by a commitee of
four, with various duties shared among these four, the regional hosts
and any other members that can help out as and when time- and personal
circumstances- permit.
The club has members from both sexes, and all age groups. All are
welcome, regardless of Audi model(if any) owned. An owner with an old
battered Audi 80 is as welcome as a member with a modified RS6.....
Part of your membership package includes a newsletter, Audience. This is full of news, reviews, articles and offers specifically for Audi Owners Club members.
This is not as frequent as some, due to the way the club is run (we don't pay for an editor, administrator, etc.)
As a member, you can expect to receive at least 6 issues of the
newsletter, and your membership shall last for approximately 12 months (usually longer).
This starts from the date your completed application is processed, not
when our calendar year starts. Processing of application forms is
usually done within 28 days of receipt, but can sometimes be longer.
Not just covering England either, the club has members in Scotland,
Ireland and Wales- with two of the organising committee hailing
from Scotland- one a Welshman!
Want to join us? Current membership rates, and the application forms, can be found in the join the club section!
